Default K6 GSX-R750 vs K3 CBR600F4i

If you guys had a choice between these two what would you take? I know this is the F4i section but I thought this was the best place to ask.

I can get the gixxer for only about $1500 more then an F4i, Both bikes are mint as well.

you're right, you are in the f4i section. so you aren't going to find much gixxer love in here =) need more details though! how long have you been riding? first bike? is it a commuter bike, or a track bike?

the f4i is much more comfortable than a gixxer 750, and is therefore more comfortable for longer rides. it's also a little more forgiving. hook us up with some details of your preferences first, then you'll get the feedback! (although i think your signature is a good answer for you.)

Kewl. Ive been riding on and off for a few years, Ive had a few trail bikes, and a cbr250RR and a k1 gsxR-750 before. Isn't going to be a track bike or a commuter, just a fun thing to get out and ride. I think it might be better paying an extra 2k and having a much newer bike thats all. I didn't want to leave honda for a suzuki again but this opportunity came up. I may be able to persuade an F4i owner to come down to my price yet though. Love the look of the F4i and im a honda fan boy, have had 4 integras and currently drive a 2000 model type R.

thats a pretty sturdy line up of hondas =) well i have an 03 f4i and i've ridden the gixxer, i prefer my f4i, because it's very comfortable (i'm 6'2'', 185lbs.) and it's still quick as hell. what's the mileage like on these bikes? i'm assuming the honda has considerably more mileage??

the cbr only has like 6,000 miles on it! wow. that's impressive. they really are mind aren't they. well given your size, i would go ride them both, and i think you're going to be please with the f4i. the gixxer might be ever so slightly quicker, but they're both great machines. do you know of the problems that each of them are famous for?

they are both reliable machines. haha you won't run into any issues with either of them for about 10,000 more miles. they both have CCTL problems, is it going to destory your bike? no, but it's something that will need to get replaced, but don't worry, it's cheap. but you have a WHILE before that is an issue. i don't know brother, sounds to me like it's just preference now! haha eenie meenie miney moe?

i think you would be more comfortable sitting and riding on a f4i... i rode a gsxr before and the newer ones are a bit more uncomfortable than the older ones
