Default Just bought my first bike - 06 F4I!!

after 3 years of wanting a bike i finally went out and bought one. 06 f4i, that was 1 of a few choices for me since i'm 6'5 and most (sport bikes) i don't fit on,..except a R1 but that's a little too suicidal still. taking the msf class in 3 weeks.

got a question about the banana seat. I took it off to look under it and now it doesn't seem to be going back on right. feels loose towards the front. are the 2 front clips all the way in the front of the seat supposed to rest next to the frame?? or is there a spot for them to slide into under the tank somewhere?

congrats and welcome. Im a big fan of the blue and black paint scheme. I cant help you much since i have a split seat but if its not going on or fitting right then youre definately doing it wrong. Im sure the clips are supposed to go under something and hold the front in place securely so id take it off and try again.

congrats man! have fun and ride safe. id advise not taking it on the street until you take the course though. theres a lot to be learned in that course and you'll be glad you waited trust me. but she's deff. a hottie! lol

thanks man, yea it's tempting but i'll "try" to wait it out lol.. rode it around the block a couple times few days ago when i brought her home then the weather dropped to the 30s again so maybe that's a good thing. yup wisconsin. still wish i would've found a clean, low mile 01-03 but that's a tough one, around here at least..

yeah i've been riding for 4-5 years now and i was the dirtbike kid since i was about 4 on a 50cc. learn what you need to know before you hit the main roads. theres nothing wrong with practicing on little back roads or private streets, but dont touch anything big until you have the course completed. wisconsin huh? that blows lol. im in florida woot woot! too bad man 2k1's are all over here.
