Hey everyone! This is my first post, been addicted to the website for a while but never signed up until this week. The names Ricky, I have an 02' F4i black and yellow pretty much everything stock except a Micron high pipe. Bought from single owner older guy that put 39,000 miles on it and had it in perfect condition.

So last night, replaced both my headlights and they worked like a charm (just standard H7 12v/55w bulbs). I woke up this morning and turned the key and the lights went on, the second i turned the bike on both lights went out and the blue highbeam light on the dash went out.

Is this something i could have done, or could this be an electrical issue somehow?

 

I have the same problem with mine. But I bought it with hids. Possible melted harness? Idk. When you find out, let me know man.

 

Check your fuse.

 

Sounds like a blown fuse to me

 

my best guess is a blown fuse or a bad harness connection
