Interesting problem.. Need help

So i was riding home from visiting my girlfriend 150 miles away and about 3 miles from my house, the metal piece holding my tail light, rear signals and tag fell off and wedged itself between the frame and my rear tire. Chewed up my nearly brand new diablo corsa 3 and f***ed up some other stuff. Ripped the connectors out of the tail light and broke some wires. Now I have not owned this bike for long and that was the 3rd time I even rode the bike and the previous owner mentioned this happening to him once, guess he didnt think to tighten the bolts up TIGHT this time around...and i'm an idiot for not checking them myself.:icon_doh: Anyhow the tire isnt really what I'm worried about. I need to find someone who can sell me the tailight connectors with pigtails so i can splice them in. My guage cluster has also stopped working after this happened and I don't understand why. I havnt fixed anything yet I've been tight on cash and the bike has been sitting for almost a month. Thanks for any help.

my guess would be that when the wires got ripped off they arced and popped a fuse. Light sockets are pretty cheap at your local auto parts store (a couple bucks a piece).

hmm I'd somehow find a way to blame your girlfriend since you were on the way to see her and see if she'll buy them for you :)

lol jk
