Roadside and Land-Air are strict about inspections---either it's all DOT or no inspection.

BC Motorsports is down rt. 7 thru shelburne-about 15 miles from Burlington.

Google it.

Good luck

oh I know where that is, I just never thought about it since Land air and Roadside are so much closer to me

What do you have for mods on your bike and what year is it?

Jmclmorrow 05-30-2009 07:43 PM

Its a 01 f4i with: Full 2 brothers exhaust, Barette Kevlar competition clutch, hotbodies smoked front turn signals and whenever I get the smoked integrated tailight in the mail it will have that.

What about you? And do you live in burlington?

For example the hotbodies front LED blinkers will fail inspection here and that is what I have as well, so its a quick enough job to just switch em out as long as I hold onto the stock parts.

I have that rear light (or one that looks just like it) and i believe that it's actually DOT approved.

isn't that essentially the same thing as d2moto sells? I ordered a d2moto one the day before yesterday and it was i think 67 bucks shipped.

A Clearalternatives is better quality. my bet is that one is a lockhart-phillips like mine and the leds start to die off one by one after a bit. Mines not quite 2 years old yet and already has like 6 dead leds in it. The smoked lense my get you some attention from the LEO's too. Does look nice tho.

Yea i'm in Burlington..I've got an 01 f4i. I recently hacked my fender off and i'm looking to get hotbodies flushmount blinkers...were those a pain in the a$$ to install? I'm shopping around for a pipe right now.

Every tuesday night is Burlington bike night, about 30 bikes gather...

Well the D2Moto lights IMO are the best, thats what the previous owner had on the bike and ran the light flawlessly for about 8ish years before I bought the bike and then finally started to give out.
Even then, the led's dident go out but only one blinked on and off.
I'll stick with their tail-light assembly.

the hotbodies flushmounts were about a 20 minute job, it was pretty easy. where do the bikes meet?
