Intake Resonators Lemme Know
Hey guys whats the goods and bads of removing the intake resonators? jc because they kinda seem un needed.... let me know if im wrong of course
since i have my bike all torn apart down to just the frame, engine, subframe and front forks i figured ide remove any un needed parts that just take up space....

(2nd paragraph) That page says its basically for smooth throttle response and intake noise reduction.
I took mine out and plugged the holes as soon as I found them when I got the bike.
no noticable change at all, just less clutter when messing with the headlights.

NOOB! ahahah (you asked for it!)
On each side there is an triangular/pyramid looking box hidden under the grey covers behind the headlights. Take off those grey intake covers and you'll see them.
Then rip them out and plug the holes. I used some rubber wine bottle corks.
They put those stupid things on just about every production car ever made. I took the one off my camaro which was about 2 feet long and dangled behind the radiator (nicknamed the donkey-dong). Solely to keep the intake noise down, but actually creates air turbulance in the intake pipes.

hey man hows the weather lookin up there in chitown? finally thought we were done with snow here in peoria we werent supposed to get below freezing next week of course now they perdict lows in the 9's and snow.... gay (but does give me some more time to wrap things up here before spring i just need a extra 114 for parts to finish up my bike) pretty basic stuff
