(2nd paragraph) That page says its basically for smooth throttle response and intake noise reduction.

I took mine out and plugged the holes as soon as I found them when I got the bike.

no noticable change at all, just less clutter when messing with the headlights.

My bike hasn't had them since the day I bought it. I don't notice anything wrong with it so I don't plan on putting them back in.

call me a noob or an idiot but what exactly are the intake resonators... i just took my bike apart for the first time and im tryen to do a little bit of modding and painting and what not...

NOOB! ahahah (you asked for it!)

On each side there is an triangular/pyramid looking box hidden under the grey covers behind the headlights. Take off those grey intake covers and you'll see them.

Then rip them out and plug the holes. I used some rubber wine bottle corks.

They put those stupid things on just about every production car ever made. I took the one off my camaro which was about 2 feet long and dangled behind the radiator (nicknamed the donkey-dong). Solely to keep the intake noise down, but actually creates air turbulance in the intake pipes.

hey thanks guys.... also idk if you guys have done it or not but look into doing the f4i air box mod... easy, almost free, and supposedly a noticeable difference...

FYI, That thread with the picture has an incorrect description. It says to remove hose #3 completely, but then it tells you to hook it back up to the T?? I was confused as shyt, until researching it a bit more. I have since modified the guys description and added other info that he missed. Here you go, hope it works out for you!! I love mine and the change in the low end pull was night and day on my bike!!
