yeah you're right. that $4000 quote was from statefarm. Everyone else gave me a higher quote. CAA actually quoted me $13,400 for an 08 gixxer

 

That sucks man. I'm 40 mins north of Toronto and state farms only charging me $1500/year at 21. Still insane compared to insurance in the states but way better then 4gs

 

I can't send PMs for some reason, but is the minimum driving experience needed for insurance with statefarm 5 or 6 years?

One agent told me it's 6 years so if we get our licence at 16 then the earliest we're able to get insurance is at 22 years old

 

I dunno man, but I'm fully insured with them right now and under my name. I think I might be getting a slight price break though because we have 4 other vehicles insured with them. But ya $131/month- $1000 deductible, 1mill liability, and then suspended in the winter to get a few bucks back.
