Default Installed track plastics, now bike wont start

Ok, I removed all my fairings and installed my track plastics.

This morning im thinking ill start it up since she has some new clothes on. I turned the key and I dont hear the fuel pump prime and wont start.

I disconnected the head lights/blinkers and tail light. Does a plug that is in the headlight assembly connectt he fuel pump as well?

Any and all help will be appreciated!

Im leaning towards bank sensor since I did unplug the headlight and was working in the area.

Thanks!

The headlight must be plugged in for the fuel pump to work.

Best way to bypass?

Would it be the same as the kick stand switch? Cut and splice together?

Hmmm. That I don't know.

I would think that you would need some kind of resistor to simulate the bulb. The circuit needs to do some "work". Jumping it would just short it to ground.

any and all?? measure the resistance across the bulb, drive to radio shack (if they actually still sell electronics what do they sell anyways?? phones?) and buy those resistors!! woo hoo!!
im thinking that would work.. its what i would do. e tape shrink wrap whatever to protect it.. maybe even buy the plug type.

It's not installed upside down, is it? Happens frequently.

To clarify, bank angle sensor is "attached" to the headlight, so if you take it off, the bike won't start. Need to either replace the sensor back on the bike (best idea), or bypass it completely.
