[sm=rant.gif]I cant take this at all..This will be the first winter where i will have my bike, and i already cant take it. i wake up to ride now...its all i think about, and now that fall and winter are coming, the days keep getting shi*ttier and sh*ttier. Its been about 2 weeks since i have ridden my bike, and i am getting agitated because every time i go to get on the bike, the roads are soaked

How about coming up to Maine? I can only ride in decent weather 2-3 months out of the year. The rest of the time is raining, snowing, or freezing . Im going to have to put the bike up in a couple weeks...already frost on my way to class in the mornings...sigh...

I hear ya! Getting colder and colder around here. I've got a set of textiles for cooler riding, thinking of leathers now just to keep myself a bit warmer. I plan on riding at least once in each of the winter months.

I have vowed to myself to ride through the winter.
If I ride once to work in Oct.
Once in Nov.
Once in Jan.
Once in Feb.
Etc.

Does that count?

It is getting closer here in PA. I was thinkin bout it as I rode to work today. I did buy my fuel stabilizer over the weekend, but I don't want to use it yet.
I do plan on some lighting mods and mesh while she sits this winter. Otherwise ride till you can't feel your hands!

I have my bike in for a warranty service and it has been ten days (they said five). It has started to rain and get colder here in Oregon, as well. I was SO desperately missing my motorcycle that I actually rented "Biker Boyz". I figured, it has Lawrence Fishburn in it...how bad could it be? That is the level I have stooped to in a small period of less than two weeks. I will have to make sure to snowboard a lot this winter, do mods on said bike (undertail..get a custom paint job?), and buy some moto gp games for the 360 I am getting for Christmas. Just be thankful you don't live in Alaska!
