idle to low !

alright so my idle was fine but someone i know messed around with the idle knob. so now my idle is at like 400 so the bike keeps turning off. when the bike is cold it idles at around 1500. so how to i get my idle up and which way do you turn the knob for the idle to go up? thanks

I believe it is clockwise for idle to go up
