Just got my bike back home from another state where it was stored in a basement for about a month and a half. 3 days ago I started it to get it on the moving truck. However, Now It wont start. When I started it last the ignition was a little hesitant but it still started.

Took it off the moving truck, engine didnt want to turn over. Lights turn on, and you can hear the ignition clicking. Im thinking the battery?

 

Yea sounds like a battery to me.

Maybe if you were a better person in life, and left some things THE HELL ALONE you would not be having such ****ty luck.

 

besides the battery..I'd DEFFINITLY put fresh gas in there..a month and a half of stale gas may make it run like crap..So dont be scared if it does..it may act up alittle bit..but yes its your battery..

 

same thing happened to me... i basically saw how the headlight is very dim.. and you can hear it struggle for the ignition.... so i went out and bought yuasa battery and long behold> good to go>

 

clicking= starter trying but not quite able to go.Battery time.

 

The battery is probably just a little drained. A month of sitting, and then a cold start without any riding to help charge it will drain a battery nicely. Either jump it and take it for a ride to charge it back up, or put it on a trickle charger for a day or two. I highly doubt you need to be replacing the battery out of an 06...
