Hey guys...well Im flirting with the idea of turning my red beauty into a streetfighter

My questions are these:

1. I know how to take off the side farings, but what is involved in taking off the front fairing? Its looks like theres wiring involved. Will I be able to still use my HID's? Possibly find a headlight that can utilize them if not just one? What is all involved in getting rid of the front fairing (nose)
I read I will have to cut down the ram air tubes as well

2. Is it possible to take off the metal tank...obv not the tank itself, but the metal?

3. Is it possible to take off the entire tail fairing and just have the frame and seats?

4. If I decide I dont want the pillon seat...is it as simple as chopping the frame right behind the seat? I attached a photo of someone who did this

IDK man....I think it is hard to make an f4i look good as a true streetfighter, most of the time they just look like a bike that was dumped.


Maybe I missed it..but what happened to your fairings?

Bored of it.....I think if done right..the F4i's can look quite nice "naked"

I think if you have time, and you have the skills, you can make a good streetfighter.

But 95% of the ones I have seen just look like a desperate way to make a dumped bike look "cool" again.....

The one pictured above is in the 5% of pulling it off.
