Oh okay i see now...Hmm, you could possibly trick your bike into thinking its at 225 before it actually gets there... Someone with a little bit more eletronical help on the F4i is oging to have to help i personally have no idea unless there is a wire that supplies the power and one that tells it when to turn on, on the bike and you could just tap into the to that switch to turn it on..

Anyone?

yeah this sounds like a tricky issue. You could try and find the relay that turns the fan on and off, and splice in some kind of other switch, but you're gonna need to find someone with some skillz for that.

I think you are thinking too much into cooling your bike. The F4i is a water cooled engine with the use of air motion to help cool it. The F4i was designed to run at a higher temperature for peak performance. You don't need to get a switch to cool the engine unless your fan does not come on at 225.

so your telling me that my engine at 225 deg. runs better than at 175 deg? ........i know for a fact that it makes less power when its over 200 deg. i have seen many dyno pulls when the bike is below 200 and over 200 the power difference...its a 5-10% difference in power.
