Default I have the OES alignment tool for sliders...

If anyone wants it. Works great, just pay the postage.

Ya better keep it, cause if you ever destroy your fairings and have to buy new ones, you'll need to drill them as well. I also used that tool and it worked like a charm.

Bought it from OES accessories when I bought my slider. It's a theaded stud with a point on the other end. You take out the engine mount bolt and thread the stud in there and press the fairing up against it. The point makes a impression on the foam.
