I Have A Few Problems, Any Help or Advice Would be Appreciated

Hi everyone,

I have a few problems with my 2001 CBR F4i that I can't figure out. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

The first problem is whenever I turn off the bike, it won't crank/start for 2 to 3 minutes. After the 2 or 3 minutes it starts up and runs fine. This one sucks, especially when getting gas.

The second problem is that I have to slowly accelerate from a stop because if it's faster it'll die or the front wheel will come up. It's worse with 2 people on the bike as well. Maybe the clutch has to be replaced?

I haven't had these problems before, they just started last month.

Thanks in advance,

Steve

i've never experience these issues with my 02 F4i, but it sounds like what happened to my car when it had starter/solenoid problem....check the battery strength too...as for the throttle issue....i have my guesses ....it could be as easy as clutch cable adjustment or throttle ajustment....then again, those are complete guesses..gdlk
