Changed the diode that I replace out with a 2200 ohm resistor and we're good to go.

Got out for a bit tonight. It was 46 degrees when I left the house. Went for pizza at a local bike night. Had something like 13 guys show up! 42 when I got back.

Wow, i did the same exact thing cause my battery had died and I went to try to get a new battery in and go but i did it too quick. Ill have a new main fuse soon, and get her running soon. Ill refer back to you when i get her all opened up. Did you have to charge the battery or did you get a new one or was the charge still held?

Yup, glad it was something easy and cheap!

If you hate them, imagine me with the HISS... If I ever have an ECU or ignition problem I might as well part the bike out... It's freaking expensive the set around here...

Sorry to laugh but thats funny cause I did the same thing. Happened to me at 4:30am in the dark when my car battery was flat so I used one of those jump start packs. I blew the 120amp main fuse with an audible "crack", rang my boss and said I won't be in today. I learnt a valuble lesson that day......stuff your car and it gets you a day off work.
