i dont know which bike i want
I found a 2002 cbr 600 f4i with only 10 700 km's on it. This will be my second bike in the second year as my ninja 500 was crapping out on me. i could buy it, but i dont know if i should just wait to find a used 600 RR for around 6000. i will be doing mostly longer trips and no racing. so i just want comfort, i want it to be fun, last long and just be a great bike. if i do go with a f4i how do i get undertail exhaust?

RE: i dont know which bike i want
you won't find a 600rr for around 600 unless it's completely trashed, double r motors go for that alone.
undertail on an f4i...more hassle than it's worth, there just ain't much room to work with, but if you have access to a pipe bender than I wouldn't say it's impossible...just gotta be custom. good luck. |
RE: i dont know which bike i want
oops 6000

RE: i dont know which bike i want
A single seat f4i is going to be the best commuter

RE: i dont know which bike i want
go with the f4i...
and btw you can find an rr for a lot cheaper then 6000$... |
RE: i dont know which bike i want
in canada they all seem in the 6000 range when they are in good shape

RE: i dont know which bike i want
i own both and for what u say u want to do the f4i is what u want. I couldnt imagine riding my rr for a road trip the seating is to aggresive. If u really want comfort get the banana seat f4i

RE: i dont know which bike i want
arent the 02 f4i split seats pretty much the same feel as the rr splits??

RE: i dont know which bike i want
i've noticed zero difference between banana seat and split seat. I've ridden both on 120 mile straight boring trips to cincy and can't tell a difference.
