Change them anyway. Then you'll know when they were done last.

Since you bought it used with no records there is no way to tell really. My old ones look almost the same as new ones yet the bike runs like crap with the old ones in. Change them now and stick to the service interval from now on.

Might as well change them, it's kind of a pain but with enough extensions and articulating elbows on a small ratchet it's not too bad. I did mine for the first time in under an hour and I wasn't really rushing.

How many miles are on the bike? Spark plugs should be inspected every 8k and replaced every 16k miles.

If you're at 20k and the bike is running fine, they were probably replaced and I wouldn't worry. If you're at 10k then you aren't due yet, but might want to take a look at them.

My bike only has 10k kms so that's about 6.5k miles...?

Maybe I'll change them next year, is it hard? Just took a gander through the service manual and they say to go through the radiator but they don't mention flushing the coolant, so I'm guessing they just want you to move the radiator out of the way but not disconnect any hoses?

Yeah, its 1.6km per mile so I would inspect them around 13k km and replace at 26k

I changed mine when I bought my F4i three months ago. I would recommend taking the airbox off and going from the top. The two interior plugs were impossible using the procedure outlined in the owner's manual. The ignition boots are the issue, they're just not very flexible anymore at the top. It's MUCH easier if you take the airbox off. If you need to change the air filter, you're halfway there anyways.

I didn't bother with the radiator, just take the air box off and you can get to them pretty easily.

I prefer swinging the radiator out instead of holding the gas tank up with something. Either way works though. As for inspecting every 8k, I'd say thats a big waste of time really. You can tell when they start to get dirty by how the bike runs.
