How often do you change your oil?

Default How often do you change your oil?
I see that chpsk8er630 started a thread on this subject but I thought we could paint a better picture with a poll.

My bike has 1200 miles so i've only done one oil change which was done at the 600 mile mark. Not to sure when i'll do my next one but probably around 2500 mile ( once/year ) mark.

it looks as if you have an 02 f4i. how is it that you have 1k+ miles? engine and gauge swap?

I've had my 02 F4i about 2 months and have put over 2000 miles. [8D]

BTW, I change oil every 3k miles.

5000 miles.... that's every month and a half to two months for me!

But damn your '02 only has 1200 miles??? [:-] God damn get out there and ride the thing!!! Do a few roadtrips, that always helps!

Anything that Thirdgen says in reguards to maintenance...I'd chisel it in stone like the ten commandments and hang it up in your garage!

DItto about the riding. I'm at 2k on m new '06. 13k on my FJR. 2k on my Burgman. 7k on my cruiser (now sold).

It's criminal not to ride it. Really. Hand over the keys and the title and I won't press charges
