How much would u pay

I have to may hobbies and the bike is getting negleted...sooooo i need to sell it i wanted to know if you guys think the price im asking is to much ...

$2000 for a 02 cbr f4i with 23xxx miles BUT NEEDS

-NEW FRONT TIRE
-CCT FIXED
-WAS DOWNED SO HAS SOME COSMETIC DAMAGE
-OIL CHANGE
- LITTLE THINGS I.E BAR ENDS ECT

it would be about $500 bucks to have it back to good shape and paint

so does it seem like im asking to much?

nickp123 11-16-2010 12:11 PM

no thats a pretty reasonable deal. the bike i bought was in way worse shape, it needed new fairings, new ignition, new seat, new headlight lens etc. and the guy wanted $1800 for it

pittsm 11-16-2010 12:46 PM

that's a pretty killer deal. i'd start at 2500 and let em <moderator edit> talk </moderator edit> you down a little.

what? no jew? no good?

sorry, i'm from the country... thats how we talk around here....lol

brveagle 11-16-2010 12:49 PM

make sure you mention the status of the title.

No one likes a salvage or lost title suprise...

madtaz10665 11-16-2010 01:11 PM

Yup...id buy that if i didnt get one already...be sure to include pictures as well

nakedcivic 11-16-2010 02:07 PM

cool thanks guys! ..oh and it not a salvage title

Aken 11-16-2010 06:14 PM

I'd start at $3,000, and let them talk you down. $2,000 is a really good price, closer to $2,500 would be more common to see.

2 k .....it'll sell fast (depending on location of course)

I'd look for $2650.00 .....might take a bit longer ....you should get it tho'

That is funny......

Can't hurt to start at 2500, but if I was shopping and it was between spending 2000 on a bike, dropping 500+ into it, or just buying a complete bike for 3500 I would wait until I had the extra dough which is especially easier to do right now since it is 6 months before the next riding season....

Just my opinion.....

I agree, seafordguy. I wouldn't buy it for $2k, either. I know I could get a nice non-dropped one for very close to the $3k mark.
