I paid $175 for my custom paint color. I paid a friend(who is a professional auto & bike painter)$700 to spray. I prepped everything.

paid 133+tax a quart and my buddy shot it for free

I paid $250 to have everything from the Tank back painted. (Tank, Rear fairing, rear seat cowl, rear under fairing). Met a guy that works at a body shop and he just happen to be painting a mercedes the same color so he hung mine up and shot it while he was at it. Did all the prep work as well!

I just paid 208 for the rear fairing and seat cowl to get painted, he had to do all the prep and etc, very satisfied.

Got about 500 invested so far, still need to buy clear coat and buffing supplies. Oh and like two months of prep, prime, sand, fill, sand, prime, sand, prime, sand, prime. Once the clear shows up I can start shooting color (after another sanding). Or save yourself alot of elbow grease and spend the money (upwards of a grand or more) and get it done right. A $300 Macco special is exactly what there motto says..."uh oh..."
