How to make a GP exhaust for F4i?
I am wondering if there are any really small slipon cans that can be used to make a GP style exhaust for the F4i.
Keeping the headers completely stock, chopping the mid-pipe and mounting a short and small can to it and anchoring it to the frame near where the right footpeg is, or there are a couple areas underneath that the can could be secured to.
Looking at how many vendors are using chopped down cans for the new R6 and calling it "GP", I wonder if it could be fairly easy to do that ourselves?
Like maybe one of the Micron Ultralite 240mm cans and a shortened mid-pipe? It might effect flow(by shortening the length of the exhaust system, but I would just throw it on a dyno to adjust the fuel if needed.
Any thoughts? Anyone tried this?

I emailed Micron about the F4i exhaust and surprizingly got a same day reply.
was thinking of this since i can get my hands on some tubing and have access to a bending machine.....
Yes, at some point, but of course you are always welcome, as many have done already, to get the GP can we already have, and create your own "short" connecting tube, thus having your own custom version LONG before anybody else does!!!

Interesting. The only thing left to consider is that the can for the R6 that they are referring to, is basically a straight pipe, because the muffler on the R6 is under the bike and stays intact when you install the Micron slipon.
So doing this mod using their can and a modified mid-pipe would work, but we would essentially be running straight pipes. LOL
