How to lower my bike correctly?

Hi guys, I decided to lower my 02 F4i after drop it two times at stop lights. I searched the forum but there is no related information about how to lower a F4i. Can someone give me a link please?

I also have some questions about lowering:

1. I decided to go with soupy performance's lowering link because it's easy to adjust. Is it reliable?

2. I know I suppose to lower my front forks to balance my bike, but how? I have no clue..

Honestly I don't think there's any "proper" way to lower a bike. It messes with the bike's handling and gives you much less cornering clearance.

That being said if you absolutely must do it, a lowering link that drops about 1" in combination with adjusting fork height would be the way to go.

My bike had both done when I bought it and I was able to bring it back up to stock height with a couple of buddies in no time.
