Default How Long is Your Yoshi?

I know the topic names sounds weird.. but anyway...

Yoshimura lists two can lengths for the RS3 and TRS Mufflers...

For the RS3 they list a 16in and a 20in.. for the TRS they list 16 and an 18.5. My current Micron can is 16in long.. and I found what seems to be a good RS3 can that I am going to swap to... the only thing is that I am not sure how long it is supposed to be... I would think that 16in sounds right given where it would exit on the bike... the seller is checking the length for me, but he has said that he measured 23 inches, which would leave me to believe that it is the 20 inch model.. if it is, is it simply too long for the F4/F4i? I don't want it to look dumb or come close to the tail...

How long is yours?

Thanks,
Adam

This begs for a good joke. But I believe you can tell the difference on where the pipe ends.
Some of them end roughly around the license plate and others are farther back.

I'll have to check the length but here's a picture of my exhaust - please forgive the fact I hadn't removed the sticker stuff off the exhaust grip.

Its a pretty bad angle but I can snap a better picture later today if you'd like.

I just called Yoshimura.. they said that the original can is 18inches long... so it is either 18 or 20 inches long then.. my Micron is 16in,... in your opinion, would a 20 inch long one look weird? Too long?

I'm still waiting to hear back from the seller on the can length...

The factory Honda can is 20", and I think it looks a little long. I am going with the TRS in carbon when I replace my exhaust, and will be opting for the 18.5" version personally.
