525 chain - 108 links
16/45 sprockets
thats stock but the best way to find out is to put the new master link in and see if it fits:icon_shrug:

I recently made a similar post. Just a heads up, you'll probably get a similar answer from most people. You'll just have to measure it up. How many links is the new chain? Stock setup is 108, so if you have longer you're fine.

Once your old chain and sprockets are off, you'll just have to measure up the chain, and cut the amount of links needed. Just make sure you tighten the wheel all the way forward when you're making your link adjustment.

Seems like you're new to the forum, so just take a look around in the How To section, and definitely utilize that search function.

Best of luck!

I know how to tell if the chain is to long or short and all that,i was just seeing if ne one knew how long my chain should be for a 15/45 sprocket set up i know wat the stock gears nd length are im not new to bikes,i just dont have the time nd cant chance cutting my chain off to not have a long enough chain

i think the chain is to short

backyardmechanic 03-15-2011 09:43 PM

thats probably a safe bet

How many links is the new chain? I don't know if it'll be exactly the same for everyone. Could be off by 1 or 2 in either direction.

the length of the chain is 103 ,so pretty much i will drop a tooth in front nd in the rear so i f***in dunno

Dragondima 03-15-2011 10:17 PM

Yea, sounds like the chain would be too short.
