Umm, storing procedures are in the owner's manual-
Change the oil, full tank of FRESH gas, remove battery, et c.
Gasoline breaks down by free radical reactions and random interactions. Fuel stabilizer has free radical inhibitors to prevent the reactions just like BHA and BHT (food presevatives).
