Default How do you guys clean your CF exhaust

Hey everyone.. I was curious as to what you guys use to clean your CF exhausts.. I have an Arrow exhaust and I put the rear pegs on and removed the old bracket to see that it at one time was actually "clearcoated" haha...

I was wondering what I could use on it to bring back a possible shine that wouldn't be too abrasive???

Thanks in advance..

so is the CF like foggy-ish now?? I would guess that some simple green or windex and some good elbow grease would clean her right up. Also since it is clearcoated I would imagine you could polish it and buff it out gently. My exhaust is only like one riding season old and I wipe it down every week or so with some warm water or windex to keep it purrrty...Also you might want to just go to google and type in something along the lines of "carbon Fiber cleaning/ polishing" ect....hope this helps!

Well, I treat it the same way I do my tank. Heat and chemical resistant clear coat, but that doesn't mean it's invincible.

Werd, Thanks guys. I'll start from the bottom and work my way up the chain of cleaners. I may just take one spot thats hardly seen and focus on that until I get results for better or worse.

Thanks guys!, I'll keep you posted.

If you want the original look, you'll have to spray some sort of clearcoat on it (epoxy).
Otherwise just clean it real good and wax it: link.
