How do you flush brake fluid?
#23
I think alot of people call me crazy, but i drained the front and rear brake fluid, and took out the bleeder bolt, inspected it, and the caliber threads, cleaned it, and applied telfon tape. Than i screwed it back into the caliper, and bleed the brakes. I believe that honda has teflon tape around the factory bleeder valves. I can see it on my left hand bleeder bolt, that does not leak! someone told me that it even says to use it in the honda hand book. If teflon tape stops pipes from leaking which have alot more pressure than our brakes, than why cant it stop brake fluid from seeping.. Im sure the dot4 will eat up the tape, but if i tighten it down it should get pushed out, that's my guess. Teflon please save my brakes! otherwise i gotta get new bleeder bolts, and bleed m MF brakes again!!!!! No leaks so far
