Default How Do I Use Sea Foam in my F4i

I was reading about people using Sea Foam to clean out their engines so i did some research. Well the website says to add sea foam to the main vacuum line, the oil, the gas tank of a fuel injected car. Would this be the same for my F4i?

To any one who has used sea foam, what procedure did you use?
Thanks in advance.

Yes you can use it in all of the above. I've never used it through the vacuum line on my bike but have on my car and I believe its one of the most effective uses of seafoam. If you put it in your oil do so just before you do an oil change, you don't want that stuff in there to long

If you've been using 91octane then it might be worth it. If the bikes always had 87 it shouldn't have any deposits to clean out.

I have put it in the gas tank a few times, but never in the engine itself.

The stuff is quality, but just make sure you use it right.

I know this thread is a month old but I had my airbox off today and used the spray seafoam called "deep creep" and sprayed it into each throttle body then let it sit for about 3 hours, started it up, warmed it up, then sprayed it into each throttle body back and forth about 1-2 seconds each while running at idle till the motor died and let it sit for about an hour, this is the best way to get the carbon at its source vs. using it in the gas tank, I have 16.5k miles on my bike, I have not taken it out for a ride yet but need to as it was still smoking out the pipe when I shut it off. Some quick WOT runs will get it all out. In the end I used about ~40% of the can when done.
