ive heard that b-4 about the longevity. thats why i only really want to do head work but its too expensive brand new. I hella dont want to get rid of my F4-i cuz its hella comfortable. that and insurance is cheaper. ive heard that bottom end work ruins the life of the motor but minor head work wont. u heard anything about head work?

hella fyno
Im with the above poster about boosting power on a 600. If you want more power get a 750 or 1000. I understand that sometimes a 600 is all the bike you could afford and it was a 600 or nothing.
Still, my philosophy with my 600 is that I am fine with its power ratings and what I am really concerned with is spending money to make sure it performs properly not necessarily faster. I've got a PCIII on my Harley and that wasbought as much to smooth out the HP and torque curves and properly adjust the air fuel ratio. A PCIII can make a bike behave better from 0 to peak RPM even when power is relatively the same. K&N's dont do anything and a slip on just changes looks and sound. Do a sprocket change and spend the rest on good tires.
