Default How can I hear different exhausts?

Right now I'm rolling a bone stock '02 F4i, but I'd like to change that as far as exhaust goes. Problem is, how can I find out what each one sounds like on my bike? All my friends have liter bikes, and so far I've yet to catch a 600 with aftermarket pipes to really listen to. Can anybody give me some hints/ sound clips? Is there a website where I could hear some, or am I just cursed to go off hearsay and hope I'LL like it too?

somone is going to post a website for you im sure, lol. there's a site that lets you hear a bunch of different slip-ons. i personally went w/ two bros and that thing is amazing. i dont regret that purchaseone bit. if you're looking for a deep, intimidating rumble at low rpms and a smooth throaty sound as you raise the rpm's higher than two bros is perfect!

This is the site that I was referred to, but I don't think you can really get a listen unless you hear it in person.

I like the Yosh, it also gives you a husky sound at low rpm, and roars when you open the throttle.[>:]

sweet, thanks for the input. That site gives me a better idea of what I'm looking at, but now I just need to catch one in person to REALLY see how it sounds. My buddy's got Two Bros on his RC-51 and he swears by them, maybe I'll give that a look...

I love the Two Bros pipes and wouldnt get anything other than Two Bros. My pipe seemed to get a little more throughty after I put some miles on her. Two Bros dosnt list the F4i anymore so I couldnt pull up their sould clips, but if you get one, you will not be dissapointed

You could also check to see if there are any bike nights in your area. They are a great way to meet people and check out their mods.
