Hotbodies Undertail running/brake light install help
 

Okay, I recently received my new Hotbodies undertail for my 2001 F4i.

Before cutting off the rear and stuff, I decided to try connecting all wires first. I read the instructions and connected each wire as explained.

I turned on the bike and tried out the left and right signals. Perfect; works fine.

However, there's no running light or brake light turning on at all. I made sure all wires are connected good and they are.

I took a picture of my wiring, YES I KNOW EVERYTHING'S DIRTY! See the red circle? according to the instructions the green with yellow tracer wire is the brake wires, and the brown is therunning light. I connected both to the correct wires on the underatail and they do not light up.

Any help?

Okay never mind guys, I got it. I was doing everything correct, except that the connectors hotbodies gave me were crappy for some reason and wouldn't pass the current through the metal. Used my own connectors and it worked fine.
