Hotbodies flushmount blinkers install......

Alright so the choice of flushmounts that i'm going with is going to be a nice clear hotbodies.

Who here can vouch for the pain in the a$$ level pertaining to install?

Do the fairing need to be taken off and whats the deal with possibly having to use diodes to compensate for the 2/3 ratio wiring?

thanks

I just did mine on Wednesday night. It is soo easy. Just take the three hex bolts out of the fairing right near the blinker and pull out on the front fairing and that should give you enough room to get a racheting box wrench to get the stock blinker off. I used 3 of the shims that come with it and it went really smothly... Good Luck...only tip that I almost didnt catch is make sure the fairings line up with the black v piece before you go out riding and make sure that all the wires are tucked away... It took maybe 20 minutes, but that was because I used the headlights from my civic as the light to install them.

I've heard you need to compensate the 2-3 ratio wiring....could you elaborate more on the wiring process?

If you want blinkers AND running lights you need to do that. I wrote up a how to in the "how to" section of the forum to do that. If you just want signals, but no running lights then dont worry about diodes.

oh btw...the wires for the signal only are the black one and the solid color. NO WHITE STRIPE
