Highway pegs
Hey guys! I'm riding all the way to sturgis next month on my '03 f4i. I've been bitten by the mod bug allready. Corbin seat, gel grips, hvmp weighted bars ends, double bubble wind screen, and gen mar bar risers. The only complaint I have on a long ride, is my legs. I've been looking at putting longer screws on the lowest part of the fairing (right below the stator cover) to stretch my legs out. Any suggestions?

You could get a set of buell pegs that have been modified to fit your bike. They lower your peg position from stock almost 2 inches. I have a set for sale that I decided not to keep on my bike, 35.00 shipped. Email me at r_nancy@bellsouth.net if interested.

Yeah, I thought about that. Thanks for the offer. I was thinking to have a second set of pegs up closer to the front tire. I'm just about to head out to lowe's and see what I can come up with.

I don't understand how pegs closer to the front of the bike would help on a sport bike - you're already leaning forward, even with aftermarket handlebars.

I suggest buying a cruiser and stop trying to turn a sportbike into a crusier.

Found my solution. Cut extended frame sliders.
