I've had had my DIY HID's in for over a year and a half and never had any issues. I only spent about 60.00. Very simple to do. also there isn't any projector kit on the market but I did hear of someone in Wisconsin using a pair of BMW projectors and his own fiberglass upper cowl assy. Wish I knew his name now.

Pics make everything better. I am currently waiting on projectors to come in the mail and then Ill be installing a ddmtuning kit in projectors with angel eyes. If all goes well Ill be testing out the new camera and doing a writeup on how to do it. Do to time constraints that just might not be possible though.

That is exactly what I am doing. I have the projectors in, and now all I have to do is mod the housing a little to get it all back together. Then it is time for the wiring and adjusting. Should be pretty awesome with the bixenon projectors.

sweet deal. Still waiting on mine in the mail. Do you by chance have a vfr or previously had one? judging by the name im thinking yes. I sold a vfr to buy the cbr.

Can't wait to see pics of the bi-xenons. I'm going with vertically stacked dual lights for my first custom lighting project; I considered bi-xenon but decided to go with an HID low beam/halogen high beam setup to keep it a bit simpler this time.

Here's a how to thread. Might help.
The photo's of the finished light beam are impressive.
I'd like to do something about my crappy dipped beam and am considering options for a 1KF.

I still have a VFR. I have a NC30, which is the 400 from the early 90s. Honda never brought them to the USA, and I got mine while I was in Japan. I brought it back to the US with me in my household goods, torn apart and in boxes. Now I have it with me here in Italy. It is the only one I have seen here so far.

Henry,

That link shows a kit you can get. I am actually using bixenon projectors out of an Infinity. Pics to come....

I vaguely remember the NC30. It must be a nice feeling to know you ride such rarity.
I guess you're snowed in as well then...... ho ho!

I'm starting to get more interested in this projector lark. The 1KF has a completely crap dipped beam and as I ride about 100 miles a day mostly in the dark it is becoming more and more of a priority to do something about it.
I await your pics with great interest.

Sorry to disappoint. I live in Italy right now, about 10 miles from the Tower of Pisa, and we don't have any snow... there have been a few days where the roads had some frost, but no snow.
