Help removing headlight bulb

In the honda service manual it says to just disconnect the connector... but i'm pulling and pulling and pulling and it won't come off.

Is there a clip or screw or something I'm missing?? I feel like I'm about to rip the whole headlight assembly out with the connector.[:@]

RE: Help removing headlight bulb

There is a metal bracket holding it in place. You have to loosen, not take out, the screw holding the bracket. On the left side the screw will be on the right side of the bracket, vice versa.

RE: Help removing headlight bulb

Um, I'm not sure what whtan20 is saying about unscrewing stuff, but...

1) Remove the headlight hardness plug attached to the back of the bulb.
2) Pop off the black rubber surround.
3) Unlatch the little metal bar holding the bulb in place (it's just hooked under something, you'll see).
4) Remove headlight bulb.

You shouldn't have to unscrew anything.

are you wanting to remove the connector or the bulb?

just pull the connector off, there are no clips holidng it on. It may be a little tight if it has been on there for awhile.
you can spray some WD40 on the underside where the blades are at to help loosen it up.
