Default Help me spend my money

Hey guys. I havent posted on here in awhile cuz i sold my F2. But I'm about to buy a 2002 f4i that all it needs is plastics and battery for a good deal. I am planning on buying some white plastics and i might get them painted depending on what shade white they are. I wana do some cosmetic stuff to it and dont know where to start. It also needs a new front tire so i might just replace both. if you all were buying it what would you do to it to make it a head turner. Thanks guys.

What would I do?

First of all, make sure it runs well and is in excellent mechanical condition. Riding> "that looks nice sitting in your garage".

Cosmetically: Do what you will with plastics.

I'm a sucker for HIDs. I hate blue though. Order a GOOD HID kit (4300-5000k).

Flush mounts and fender eliminator. Fender eliminator is the BIGGEST difference you can make cosmetically (IMO at least).

A puig or ZG double bubble windscreen.

I hate how conventional forks look. Inverted fork swap! Plus I mean your suspension is the biggest thing you should be focused on (performance wise)

Nice tires (I hate how the budget tire tread patterns look, some dunlop Q2's or michelin pilots will do)

Gold on gold RK chain, of course

hmmmm....after your wallet recovers from all that, let me know

Lol hmm.. I'd make it mechanically sound for sure and then cosmetically since you already have the plastics figured out.. If worry about all the things that can be seen thru the plastics. Fender eliminator, Gas tank, seats, windshield, exhaust, stator cover and the cover that's on the other side, chain, wheel colors, maybe even a colored bolt kit? This is purely cosmetic of course.

Alredy decided to do HIDs for sure.

What is the name of the kit that has just the two bullet turnsignals beside eachother and the liscence plate?

Are these that neccasary? Seems like alot of work to do if mine are in good condition.

Ill look into some tires.

Whats the advantage of the chain? Or just looks?

Sreen=180ish
Tires=400ish
Eliminator kit + turn signals=200ish
HIDs=100ish
Those about right?

I think youll be pleasantly surprised to find that most of your estimates will probably be pretty high...

screen= $80-100 at most for puig, ZG, sportech...
tires= $250-300
Eliminator kit and turn signals= $150-200 if you get an undertail kit
HID kit= $40-50 if you get just a ddm or whatever company hid kit
$150-200 if you get a cheap projector kit
$300ish for a good retro fit projector kit

soooo that leaves you more money to spend on other stuff...

rim stripes always look nice and are cheap....slip on exhaust? 600rr fork/swingarm swap as mentioned? steering stabilizer? 600rr subframe/tail swap?

Screen way cheaper and turn signals + FE kit way cheaper.. Just depends on where you buy your stuff from but.. If you allot yourself that much cash for everything you'll be well off to get what you need

Save some more money by making your own Eliminator kit for +/- $25.

All white with a blue tint on the bike. Blue wheels with a white lip. Had that on a f2 that i showed. It most certainly turned heads.

Got any pics of the bike?
What screen deflects the most air out of your face? I'm 6'2 and sit kinda high on the bike. Also is there any way to lower the seat on these bikes? i like sitting lower to the tank like on the F2s.

a double bubble should help you out the most. lower the seat no, just the bike itself, but your position in relation to the tank wont change.
