Default Help Me With Some Plastics

Okay so i have to fill in where my old headlight used to be on my f4i to do the custom projector job ive been workin on.... does anyone know of a good plastic resin kit for this? Does anyone know anything about plastics... ive found a few by smooth-on and por-a-kast i was thinking about getting but ide like your guys input as well

as always any help will be appreciated....

Two words..."Race Plastics" Buy an upper and cut holes out to mount the lights through. MUCH easier than trying to fill in OEM plastics.

Yeah, then you can sell me your OEM upper and recoup some cost. As long as it aint cracked up.

UH OH the vultures are circling already...LMAO I had a friend go down a couple months ago, he had people offering to buy parts off his bike before the truck got there to take the bike home...LOL

thats what i was thinking, easier to cut away then add.

could always use fiberglass, but to me that sounds like a time consuming job.

okay well im looking at cost as well.... a plastic kit will run me 30 bucks... a race fairing will run me like 219 dollars....

if i bought a upper though what would you guys be willing to buy my upper and left and right side mid fairings for?... the mid fairings have been completely sanded and primed... the upper was still a work in progress

Honestly you could probably sell your plastics and make a little money over the cost of the race plastics.

definately time consuming but not to big of a job IF you have used fiberglass resin before and know the steps. If you got bank then buy a race upper and cut to fit but if your like me (broke as joke and it aint funny LOL) then glass resin will have to do. PREP is the keyword here. The resin needs something to grab on to so you will need to sketch the surface. I used a dremel but im cool like that lol

Should I use fiberglass or plastic. Since I have a plastic upper wouldn't fiber glass not work since it expands and contracts differently to heat
