Exclamation Help Me Figure Out R1 Projector Mounting

Okay guys my f4i project is back on i just ordered a set of rockwell fiberglass racing fairings sine i needed my headlight space to be filled in....

so here is my delima i have two r1 projectors (just the projectors and the black peice going towards the back of the bike.... like shown in the picture

my question is does anyone have any good suggestion as how to mount them? should i do it externally or internally (so in otherwords should they the be on the outside of the bike) (or back further than the fairing)

I can use a drill to cut holes to mount farther back if needed

It was a mix of both.

1) Projector headlights by themselves (IE not in the stock housing you removed them from) are FAR from weather proof.

2) Projectors sticking out from the nose plastic would look absolutely ridiculous IMO.

Water proofing can easily be accomploshed with rvt silicone.
And if you think mounting it on the outside will be hideous then why did you have to be a smart one about mountiig it farther back. Why not make a constructive statement and help

Because it was more fun than saying "back farther." And it makes the exact same statement. And because I am a smart one. So that's my opinion. Good luck with your project, sounds like you'll need it.

You know if I had done something that you didnt like and you wanted to criticize it thats your call but since i came on here asking for people opinions and help why do you have to act like your some big BA and put my ideas down? Why not help?

The whole idea of this forum is to help one another build each other up and trade advice not walk around with your chest puffed out like your better than someone or that your ideas or better than someone elses...... so ill ask you once again if you have a idea on how to mount it than spill it if not... Why say anything at all?
