Over the last couple of weeks it has become difficult for me to get my key out of the gas tank of my 06' F41 when I get gas, but I always get it out. Today, nada. Key is stuck and don't want to risk breaking it off. Has anyone had this problem and can offer me a solution to get it safely? Otherwise, off to the shop and $$$.

might try some PB breaker in the key hole and give it the ole wiggle and jiggle. IF something is locked up, the pb breaker will do the trick. It doesnt take much so dont drown it bcuz you dont want it gettin into the tank

 

I've always preferred Astroglide myself Kuro - but to each their own.

 

pb blaster and work the key side to side (blade sides)

Like nickels said , don't drown it ...a few drops
