Did you plug all the sensors and the pair/vaccum hoses back into the air-box upon reinstalling? If you started the bike up without the two sensors plugged in, you'll get a fault code.

yes its all plugged in and there are 2 very small hoses that arent plugged in but i cant find where they go so idk if they where unplugged before

Those two little ones go on the lower back side of the airbox (the lower half), and I believe those in turn are connected to the throttle bodies.

the bottom half of the air box??? hmmm im not talking about the big like half inch vaccum lines im talking about the tiny ones

Yeah, it's to the left of that one. There's two downward facing tubes (real small) on the back underside of the lower airbox. If you were to divide that area in ten, they'd be at positions number 4 and 8, facing down, but nonetheless accessible with it on.

Finally found a picture:

Next to his thumb, on the left, is one tube. The other one is hangging down to the right of the big hose connection. One is below the "C", and the other below the bike.

hmmm i dont remember seeing them, ima go out there and take it apart, be back in a few to see if i ficed it.

skatermckimm 07-08-2009 07:39 PM

well yes there whrere there, and i plugged em in and disconnected the battery, reconected battery and fired her up, idles perfect for 10 seconds then jumps to 1500 rpm and the ****ing light flashes 2 times every 3 seconds, i just dont understand.

Two blinks indicate: Loose or poor connection to the MAP Sensor Vacuum Hose, or faulty MAP Sensor. The MAP Sensor is the connector on the lower left side of the airbox, grey in color.
It's good you connected those hoses otherwise you'd be sucking in unfiltered air.
