I just bought a 2011 CBR 600 f4i and the guy said it needs a ECU, my question is, will a 2011 cbr600rr ECU fit the f4i? Thanks for any help.

Yep..the F4i actually ceased production in 2006. If you have a 2011 bike, it's either a CBR600F or a 600RR.

Or did he typo 2001? In which case there was no RR yet.
