Help! 06 F4i not starting.

I have a 2006 F4i with 4000 miles on it. I went to go for a ride earlier and it wouldnt start. It usually fires right up without question.

The fuel pump primes, engine turns over, and I can smell a little gas coming form the pipe when I turn it over. It just refuses to fire. I did some searching and found that the battery may be a problem. I check it and get atleast 12 volts and 9.5-10 while cranking. Its got almost a full tank of fuel and was just running last weekend. I have NOT tried to bump start it yet. Only mods ive done are slip on pipe, HID's, flushmount signals up front and led short stalks in the rear, and LED plate light.

This is my first bike and ive never had any problems with it so im new to trouble shooting bike problems.

Any idea what it could be? I hate to take it in to the local dealer and pay an arm and a leg for a simple fix. I have plenty of mechanical ability and do almost all work on my cars and trucks myself.

Bikes are the same as cars, just a lot smaller. Do what you'd normally do to diagnose. If it was working fine before sitting for a week, chances are it's just the battery or a fuse or something else simple. Get it bump or jump started if you can. That's what I'd do.

Talked to a buddy of mine that is a service manager at the local honda dealer. Hes leaning towards bad cell or something in the battery or my spark plugs being bad. Taking my battery in tomorrow to have them test it then i guess ill change out my plugs if that isnt the problem.

Had my battery tested and it showed only 90% charge after being on a trickle charger all night and 0% battery health...lol

Got a new battery and installed it and everything is back to normal. Thanks for the help.
