Default Helmet fog.

New rider. 3rd time out today in Toronto, Canada. Weather on the chilly side. My visor keeps on fogging up! I had to leave a crack open and I already open the 3 vents on the helmet. I have a K4 AGV. Any way to stop that from happening? Or do i have to wait till the weather warms up.

Also, dum question.. how do i know i need gas? lol
Thanks

next to your speed indicated the gas pump sign and 4 bars will start to show when you are low on gas. That sign is the reserve tank signal meaning you have about just less than a gallon left of gas.

You can buy a 'breath box' that keeps condensation from forming on the inside of the helmet.

Also, I bought a tinted visor for my helmet and it almost never fogs, whereas my clear visor fogged all the time. Don't know why, but its true

here is a simple solution that i used also... use anti fog glass lense cleaner...

it does not solve the condensation issue but it keeps it from forming a fog keeps you safer until you get your permanent solution.. you can get the lense cleaner CHEAP... any eye glass shop or pharmacy/Walmart

stay safe hope it helps in meantime till you get your full solution

I get fog issues when its a little cold with my Shoei as well. I have tried anti fog spray but doesnt seem to work for me. I just ride most of the time with the visor cracked. I have heard good things about the Visors with the pins though to add a second lens on the inside. They apparently eliminate fogging.

If you helmet came with the breath deflector, covers your nose so when you exhale the air goes down and not towards your visor these work great! Install it. Other than that, no idea.

The shield on my Shoei used to fog on cold days if I was riding at less than 40 mph and always when I came to a stop on those days. I had a choice of either riding with it partially open and a cold face or not breathing.

I bought a Fog City Shield Insert a few years ago and that thing works great. I cannot make it fog now even if I try.
