When my battery was dying my bike was doing the same thing, i typically have both lights on all the time wired to the stock high beam switch so either on or off for both. When my battery was getting low it would usually shut off one of the beams, and if it got really bad it would shut off both. This was mostly because my R/R was shot and was toasting the battery and fried a lot of stuff.

I got the battery just last summer so I wouldnt think it'd be bad but I'll check it out
The turn signals and everything else stay on and everything it's just the lights

Common issue with the solder joints coming lose in the starter button box.

Open up the starter switch (two screws from the bottom) and you'll see 4 small dabs of solder in there with wires. Guaranteed one of them popped off.

A fine tip soldering pen with a steady hand will fix this right up. Fixed mine 2 years ago and it's been fine ever since.
