headlights dont work anymore
Hello, when i got off of work today and started the bike i realized that both of my headlights dont work and i just replaced the bulbs. the bike is a 2001 cbrf4i. Maybe the fuse blew? how do i access the fuses?

Take the front seat off. There is a labelled fuse box under it. Pull up on back corners of seat and you will see one screw on each side that hold seat on.

hum.. that's weird. I just turned the bike off and on and now the lights work again... I didnt even have to take a look at the fuses. That's odd. I wonder why that happened..?

Do you work in a paint shop or a place with lots of fumes?:icon_wink:
|
lol no i work at a resturant, all i smell is pancakes and fumes. I think the started switch just got stuck, cutting out the power to the headlights. Thats the only explination i can think of. im just going to wd-40 that guy up, and also my turn signals are a little stuck, can i Wd-40 in between the switches? I like wd-40 lol

no WD-40! WD-40 is flammable and switches are electrial. Do the math :)
Get some electronic contact cleaner. Radio Shack, Pepboys, Autozone and Napa all carry it. Prolly others (possibly CVS, Rite Aid and Eckerds) |

Could be that a wire connection got pulled a bit loose when you accessed the light bulbs.
