Headlights Dont Work!!!

The headlights nor high beams work. I've already checked fuses and replaced bulbs. I also have turn signals and brake light! Its just the headlights for some reason!!! any ideas???

hardy har har. i changed both the bulbs and have no idea. if i have a short somewhere i'll have one hell of a fun time finding it

I thought it was funny....

Did you recently change the battery or anything? Sounds like you could have introducted a short to the system somehow.
Does the gauge cluster indicate the high beam is on?

check ur headlight harness and make sure there is not corrosion and u have good connections to it..its clutch side near radiator..i had an issue with the ground on mine a while back...

F4i's are notorious for loose connections in the starter switch box. (when u press the starter switch the headlight turn off to save power). Take the two screws out from the bottom of the box on the clip-on and open it up. You'll see 4 wires attached to the black starter switch. Most likely one of the solders has popped off. Just solder it back on but be careful not to do more damage to other connections. There is very little room in there so use a fine tipped solder gun.

If just one wire pops off it will disable both lights from working but your front turn signals and running lights should still be working.

I'm having this same problem too, and had to ride home in the dark yesterday. fuse was blown and put a new one in, and it blew too.. so it must be a short somewhere right?
