Default Has anyone purchased an aftermarket seat?

I've looked at the Corbin, and it looks OK, but I'm wondering if there are any other options out there that I should consider. Does anyone have any feedback regarding the Corbin seat, or any other manufacturers?

Thanks.

Update, I just called Corbin. They said that they don't have a seat for the '04-'05 F4i yet. They said they have a bike in R&D now and should have one within the next couple weeks. Does that sound right? As popular as these seats are I would have thought for sure that they'd have one by now for this bike.

it's very possible.
as far as corbin, their seats are the schiznit...feel so plush on your bottom...but they are bling though.

if you're handy, you can try and mess with the stock seat yourself, will be much cheaper. cut out the foam and replace with gel pads and then restaple the seat.

i thought corbin already had one for the 99-00 f4. . . .that uses the same rear section and seat so wouldn't that work. . the only difference is the leater grab handle on it, im still thinking my 05 seat is pretty comfy just wishign second look never went out of business so i could get a seat cover

They said that the 99-00 model of seat for the F4i won't fit the '04-'05 bikes. He said the sub-assembly is completely different. They look identical though.

It's worth the money to me. Sometimes the aching distracts me from the road.

they are probably going to charge more for the new seat, so make sure the F4 seats won't fit first!

i have buns of steel so i make the seat ache...not the other way around...

I'm not sure how to respond to the "buns of steel" comment, but I appreciate the responses.
