Default Hardware/Fastener kits

Has anyone ordered a hardware kit similar to this link?:
Universal Sportbike hardware kit

I just picked up a 2001 F4I and it came with more zipties and incorrectly sized bolts than I would prefer. Are these universal kits recommended or would I be better off looking at a Honda CBR-specific set? Thanks

I have not but would be willing to do so if I knew S&H was covered by the company if they didn't match up...

I checked on some options from Amazon as well. It all looks similar, I guess I'll have to give it a try and hope they're compatible. Thanks for the input.

Okay, good luck! If it works out, I might order one as well. Going to the dealership and paying $3-5 every time I lose a bolt or cap is ridiculous...

Been a couple of years now but I bought a kit for my 01 F4i from ebay. It wasn't the cheapest one but not the most expensive , it was around 40-50 dollars if I remember correctly.

Anyway. I was more than happy with it, it came with all the fairing bolts and well nuts etc.. It specified for the F4i not universal. In the end I had everything to replace all the bolts, and there were actually a few extra well nuts and bolts extra (bonus)
Even came with a thank you note in it lol .
Cant recall the seller off hand. But I would definitely go that way again.

*edit*

I can't swear to it, since its been a while but Im thinking this might be the kit I got. The seller sounds familiar.
And the bolts are black which for me was a bonus.

That's about the same price point as the kit I saw online, seems like its well worth it considering how much the stealership would charge for OE fasteners. Revzilla offers a similar kit too, I might throw it into my shopping cart as I'm about to buy front and rear stands and some frame sliders.

The universal bolt kit from Revzilla has been more than satisfactory. Its much nicer to have complete hardware for the fairings and no more rattling. The only downside is now that I have the proper fasteners, I'm realizing how much stuff is cross threaded by the previous owner(s).
